Misifu Remeow - If you loved the 1980's classic of Alley Cat, you'll love this ZX Spectrum demake!

It's time for some great ZX Spectrum news, as we have just been informed through Facebook that Jordi has released an overhauled version of his ZX Spectrum game 'Misifu Remeow'; a game that was previously released via the ZX-DEV MIA remake competition as a demake of the classic game 'Alley Cat'. For those of you who haven't heard of this game before, the original was released on the Atari 8bit in 1983 and MS-DOS in 1984 by Bill Williams and published by Synapse Software, and puts you in control of Freddy the Cat on a challenging mission to rescue his Cat love, Felicia.

Alley Cat - A very classic game reviewed by DarkwyndPT

Hello and welcome to Retro Freak Reviews, where we take a look at PC games from the 80s and 90s and today we’re going to take a look at my (and several people’s) 1st PC game: Alley Cat for DOS. Alley Cat was created in 1983 by Bill Williams, based on a concept by John D. Harris and originally published by Synapse Software for the Atari 8-bit computers and one year later published by IBM for the MS-DOS.

Alley Cat - Atari/DOS cat classic is coming to the NES

Probably one of the oldest pet themed game's on our website is Bill Williams and published by Synapse Softwares 'Alley Cat' for the Atari 8bit in 1983 and MS-DOS in 1984. Playing as Freddy the cat, your objective was to perform challenges such as catching mice in a persons home in order to reach his cat love, Felicia. For what was a very odd game indeed with cheese the size of an entire room, and a humorous cat falling behind the fence, we are pleased to meeow to the hilltops, that Alley Cat will be coming to the NES thanks to FG Software (Vectrex28).

Some time back we announced that Bill Williams and published by Synapse Softwares 'Alley Cat' for the Atari 8bit in 1983 and MS-DOS in 1984 was coming to the ZX Spectrum as a port by Destr with as much of the original gameplay intact. Sadly that conversion became MIA and it was down to Jordi to take the reigns and give us that much needed conversion/demake which was announced via the ZX-Dev MIA remake competition. Well you'll be pleased to know unlike that version the demake has come along well enough for the creator to release a small beta demo.
