As 'Fox n Forests' developed by Bonus Level Entertainment, a gorgeous looking 16-bit inspired pixelated platformer, where you play as a Furry that can loot, upgrade, hack and slash and even change the very seasons of the game you're playing in, has finally been launched!

We've been banging on about this game for months now but after many updates through their twitter page, Bonus Level Entertainment have given a firm release date of May 17th for both PC and Consoles. This game which is a gorgeous looking 16-bit inspired pixelated platformer, puts you in control of a Furry character that can loot, upgrade, hack and slash and even change the very seasons of the game you're playing in

I have such fond memories of playing 16bit platformers such as Mickey Mouse or even Ghouls 'n Ghosts, so it stands to reason why I've been eagerly awaiting 'Fox n Forests' developed by Bonus Level Entertainment. Yes that's right, this game lets you switch seasons to avoid obstacles or even beat enemies! What a lovely game indeed and not only does it have a new game player trailer but it's coming to PC, Linux, Mac (Steam and DRM free) Spring 2018.

Fox n Forests - Gorgeous 16bit era inspired platformer is a Kickstarter success!

What a fantastic day for the developers Bonus Level Entertainment, as their 16bit inspired platformer ' Fox n Forests ', is a Kickstarter and Steam Greenlight success. Raising €103,949 of a €95,000 goal so far with 21 hours to go, Fox n Forests is one of my most eagerly awaited games. It looks to have the charm of those retro gaming platformer classics such as Super Ghouls ’n Ghosts, Wonder Boy in Monster World, the gameplay that a person of any age can pick up and play, and the musical and soundtrack that sounds as if it's being loaded up on a SNES or a Sega Megadrive.

Only just last month Bonus Level Entertainment gave us the heads up for their gorgeous looking 16bit inspired platformer ' Fox n Forests ' which first appeared as a tease on Facebook. Well fast forward to this week and the developers behind the game are hoping for a big success via their latest Kickstarter crowd funding campaign. They will try to raise at least €95.000 so it can come out on PC, Max and Linux for September 2017! ( Console versions also possible )
