Angry Birds (Opposition) - Angry Birds as a shooter on the ZX Spectrum? Yes really!

How many of you remember that highly addictive game whereby you used to fling birds at collapsible objects to knock pigs out of the way? Well I do and it was the gaming fad for the time ' Angry Birds ', which isn't on anyone's mind right now as it's mostly Pokemon Go. But what if we could take Angry Birds and turn it into a shooter for the ZX Spectrum? Welcome to ' Angry Birds (Opposition) ' by kas29.

Dark Castle - A rather creepy ZX Spectrum game has been released!

Are you ready for the creepiest ZX Spectrum game this year so far? Well you should be! As a brand new scary ZX Spectrum game has appeared by kas29 and team, called ' Dark Castle '. In Dark Castle, you play as Bob, an ordinary country boy, bored out of his mind from the constant tediousness of working on a farm. While out exploring to escape this boredom he comes across an old abandoned castle, but this is no ordinary abandoned castle as some say it is enchanted while others say it is haunted. But whatever is going on, this is just perfect for Bob to get away from it all, and bring some enjoyment back into his life.

STARS(Gumi) - Catch the Stars for your ZX Spectrum!

Possibly the last news for today as it's been a non stop weekend of fun, but just moments ago kas29 announced his brand new Arcade ZX Spectrum game of ' STARS(Gumi) '. In this fine gem of a release, you the player must guide the Alien Gumi in his little yellow spaceship, out to space to collect the stars to bring them back to the collection point to complete the level.

The retro scene really has kicked it up a notch this week as there have been so many different releases it's almost been hard to keep up. We've had the recent Rick Dangerous announcement for the Atari 8bit, Skool Daze for the Amstrad and even Big Red Adventure for the Amiga CD32. Now it's time for the ZX Spectrum, as kas29 has now released his arcade like simulation of 'Rabid Mower' that is completely free to play.
