H1Z1: New gameplay footage from last nights stream!

It's been awhile since we've featured new footage of Sony Online Entertainment's latest game H1Z1, so today we've got some new game play footage to show you direct from last nights live stream. This recorded video gives us a sneak look at the inventory, resource gathering, base building and combat  For those that don't know what H1Z1 is about, this is a free to play Zombie apocalypse game, Using the MMO engine Forgelight, this massive open world game will feature various environments, roaming wildlife, Zombie AI, up to 2,000 players and more!

H1Z1: Twitch Stream Work In Progress Highlights!

I'm sure many of you were probably watching the live stream last night of the work in progress for Sony Online Entertainment's latest game H1Z1. But for those of us that didn't, either it was too late or prefer waiting for the highlights, then Brandon Bixley has compiled every last min of it in parts on Youtube. In short : H1Z1 is a free to play Zombie apocalypse game, Using the MMO engine Forgelight, this massive open world game will feature various environments, roaming wildlife, Zombie AI, up to 2,000 players and much more!

Miscreated - A new take on the DayZ & Rust theme using CryENGINE 3

With all the post-apocalyptic games available like DayZ, Rust, and WarZ and the hopefully soon to be released H1Z1, you'd be crazy to think there could be no more to come. And sure enough along comes Miscreated by Entrada Interactive, which is a new online survival based mmo using CryENGINE 3! Miscreated also features zombie like creatures (which are mutants) and other humans which can be friendly or bandits, but not to worry as you can scavenge for resources and build bases for defence, just like in Rust. It will be interesting to see if this game can compete with the best of them, but going by the engine being used this could be a winner. Entrada Interactive are hoping for a Steam Greenlight success, so check out the video and if the game interests you, give it a vote!

H1Z1: Twitch Stream Highlights! [UPDATE]

Just a small update today as Tim Skijwalker gave us the heads up that he has uploaded more videos from the previous Twitch stream of Sony Online Entertainment's latest game, H1Z1. The latest DayZ Standalone Version: 0.42.116181 has been released!

Update : It's been some time now and many of us have been waiting for the latest DayZ patch to come out of experimental and towards the final stable version. Well that day has come with Version: 0.42.116181, and I can see why we've had to wait so long as the patch list is huge. From new animations to fixes and new towns. This is probably the best patch we've had so far and a vast improvement to the already popular DayZ game. Read on for the patch notes

DayZ Standalone - Steam early access?

Update : Many gamers have been asking when is DayZ coming out as a standalone. Well it seems that could be soon if the information from the Steam database is anything to go by. Although there is no specific date that's set, it's nice to see that the rather famous Zombie fest has appeared for Steam and early access is a good thing!

DayZ - Mod 1.8 Update RELEASED!

Patch Update : The latest update for DayZ has been released, this will add some brand new features from fishing to a brand new player UI (Eat, Drink, Blood Icons, Sound/Sight icons). There are plenty of other fixes and improvements and the biggest standout for most is the option to chose your area of spawn. Don't want to spawn in the wilderness, you don't have to. Nether - A new online survival game to take the throne from DayZ/WarZ?

Breaking Point - The NEW zombie mod for Arma 3

Info : So far nearly everyone has heard of DayZ, the all time great online Zombie apocalypse mod by Mr Rocket. A mod in which you play with lots of other players in a vast infected landscape, while trying to survive with friend or foe or against the deadly zombies themselves. But so far nothing has really pushed the barrier into Arma 3. Yes we've had a sort of DayZ port but it isn't that brilliant, well time to move on as a new mod could well take the thrown. It's Breaking Point, a full on Zombie Infection mod for Arma 3 a proper DayZ Arma 3 mod if you want to call it that.
