SkySaga - Minecraft style MMO reaches Alpha 2 stage!

Only just last month we announced "SkySaga"; A fantastic looking Minecraft style multiplayer game by Radiant Worlds which is currently going through early Alpha testing. Today's announcement is that SkySaga has now reached an Alpha 2 stage and is available for closed testing by invite through registration. A lovely game indeed which I was able to test last night. As it features new lands to discover such as sea, snow, sand, fields and mountains where you can create, build, dig, harvest trade and much much more. SkySaga really is full of charm and immersive detail that I actually preferred over Minecraft. I just hope they put in a bigger FOV and Mouse Acceleration settings.

SkySaga - Oliver Twins new game gets a gameplay trailer!

H1Z1 – Online Zombie Survival game gets an E3 2014 Trailer!

We've just been informed that Sony Online Entertainment has released the latest E3 2014 trailer for their Zombie Survival MMO game H1Z1, which hopefully will be released for early access at some point soon. Cubic Castles free open Beta - Minecraft meets platformer MMO

Cosmic Cow Games are running a free open beta of their new cute MMO - Cubic Castles. It's very much a 3D platformer with a Mario-esque flavour and a visual style like a polished minecraft for the terrain. In fact the visual cues will mean minecrafters will feel right at home, though the big block-ness is restricted to the terrain engine, with characters and other environment decorations like trees having more typical 3D representation. There is crafting and world building as you build your castle from surrounding materials, yet already this game is looking pretty polished for a beta release. But that's not surprising since some of the dev team have come from Pop Cap so they ought to know a thing or two about making polished games.

Miscreated - A new take on the DayZ & Rust theme using CryENGINE 3

With all the post-apocalyptic games available like DayZ, Rust, and WarZ and the hopefully soon to be released H1Z1, you'd be crazy to think there could be no more to come. And sure enough along comes Miscreated by Entrada Interactive, which is a new online survival based mmo using CryENGINE 3! Miscreated also features zombie like creatures (which are mutants) and other humans which can be friendly or bandits, but not to worry as you can scavenge for resources and build bases for defence, just like in Rust. It will be interesting to see if this game can compete with the best of them, but going by the engine being used this could be a winner. Entrada Interactive are hoping for a Steam Greenlight success, so check out the video and if the game interests you, give it a vote!

CRYSTAL KINGDOM - 16-bit action JRPG now in Open Beta

Just before Christmas, Crystal Kingdom was announced and put forward via the indiegogo campaign which oozed quality and animation. However the campaign wasn't to be, and thus this amazing looking JRPG was not financed. Fast forward to now and Crystal Kingdom is back with an Open Beta! Crystal Kingdom is the successor of the fan game SEYKEN, which was the first JRPG that tried to truly emulate the graphical style of the 16-bit console classics. The game also had an incorporated co-op, through online capability.

WarZ - Under Attack

Things are just getting worse and worse for WarZ, the online Zombie Apocalypse game, as we are now getting reports that the servers are under attack. At first they told us it was DNS issues but it now looks as if it's a full DDOS attack, either some disgruntled banned user or angry customers are out for revenge.
