Mechwars: Arena - A rather cool looking Arena game is now available for the ZX Spectrum

We've featured a number of great games by ZXBITLES over the last couple of years, from RED RAID THE BEGINNING to MECHWARS: CENTIPEDE on the ZX Spectrum. Well today's news came as a complete surprise to us from Saberman, as after already featuring their previous release of  MECHWARS: CENTIPEDE which was released last year, along comes Mechwars: Arena. A multiplayer ZX Spectrum game as the first one in a trilogy of games that is available both as a digital download and physical tape!

Turbo Tomato - A highly explosive arena battle game available for the Amiga gets a major update!

The first news story of the day and yes it's Amiga related, as we've just been told through twitter, that the previously released super duper deluxe version of a new game called 'Turbo Tomato' has recently got a BIG update adding Difficulty Modes and others new features, and fixing many bugs. Turbo Tomato is a game that was developed by NIVRIG GAMES and published by BITMAP SOFT as a highly-explosive arena battle game with requirements of just an Amiga 500 or an Amiga CD32 and above.

It's a late night news story for all you Amiga owners, as we've just been told through twitter, that a super duper deluxe version of a new game has been released as 'Turbo Tomato'; a game that was developed by NIVRIG GAMES and published by BITMAP SOFT, as a highly-explosive arena battle game with requirements of just an Amiga 500 or an Amiga CD32 and above. To coincide with this news story, the team behind the game have released some new screenshots viewable below.

Pan-Dimensional Conga Combat - Frantic Arcade game by RGCD is now available!

Oh joy of joys, RGCD has recently informed us of the recent release of their rather frantic Arcade arena style shooting game of ' Pan-Dimensional Conga Combat ', which is now available to buy for the PC. From the same team behind those great games such as Aviator Arcade II, Trance Sector Ultimate and R0X EP, comes a game that aims to be a little bit of Gridwars mashed up with a classic Snake. Oh and it has more action and trippy effects that you could possibly handle!

Every so often we get a bit of game news that really gets the old gaming goosebumps going and today that game is FranknJohn by bitSmith Games. You play as FranknJohn who has the ultimate in head weaponry and must face down many fearsome enemies and powerful bosses through a crazy, frantic, in your face destructive smash em up style of game play.  What sets this game apart from all the others is the fact that it's your head that can be swung about and jabbed at enemies to take them out, it sounds odd but it seriously works well in this game.
