Pengo - A classic Arcade game from 1982 has arrived on the MSX 2


Way back in 1982, Coreland published by Sega released the Arcade game of 'Pengo', A maze like game in which playing as a penguin, you must survive each round by eliminating all Sno-Bees and Sno-Bee eggs with sliding blocks, while optionally lining up the three diamond blocks for a large bonus. Well today's news is pretty interesting for fans of this classic game, as Paxanga Software has released a port of the Arcade game over to the MSX 2.

Pengo - Eagerly awaited Arcade to Amiga conversion by JOTD is finally here!

After just announcing the awesome game that is Rygar, along comes JOTD with the announcement that the Arcade game of Pengo has been released for the Commodore Amiga via itch io! Yes indeed this 1982 game by SEGA, which I had the pleasure of playing back in the day, has not only been released for the Amiga as an Arcade conversion, but it's fully playable with sound, has selectable music & difficulty levels, and so much more you'll just have to experience for yourselves. To coincide with this news, Saberman has done a short video of the game which you can download and play right now on a real Amiga or via Emulation.

After just announcing the awesome game that is Rygar, along comes JOTD with a brand new update for his upcoming creation of Pengo! Yes indeed this 1982 game by SEGA, which I had the pleasure of playing back in the day, is coming to the Amiga by the same creator who also did Super Xevious 1200 as well as the upcoming Galaxian 500. To coincide with this news, Saberman has done a short video of the beta version which you can download and play right now on a real Amiga or via Emulation.

Those Arcade to Amiga conversions just keep on coming, as after just announcing the awesome game that is Rygar, along comes JOTD with his newest of creations of Pengo! Yes indeed this 1982 game by SEGA, which I had the pleasure of playing back in the day, is coming to the Amiga by the same creator who also did Super Xevious 1200 as well as the upcoming Galaxian 500 and Karate Champ. To coincide with this news, Saberman has done a short video of the Alpha version of the game being played.

Pepper Pengui - An online playable game with inspirations to Pengo (Browser Based/Windows)

Looking through the itch.io website for new retro styled games to play on your home computer or via an internet browser at work :p, we've just come across a new game called 'Pepper Pengui' developed by All-x Dev and Dotto Meister. This game from the look of the video below or linked here, is an enjoyable new arcade game which is inspired by other games such Pengo and those wonderful Japanese early 80s coin ops.
