Scuba Dive - A great remake of a classic ZX Spectrum game originally released in 1983!

Great news retrogamers as Sunteam have announced the release of their brand new PC remake of 'Scuba Dive '. A remake of the ZX Spectrum version, which Sunteam have said is an all-time classic in the vast library of ZX Spectrum games standing the test of time remaining one of the most unique and compelling games of the 1980's! Text Based Adventure games are still very popular, especially with the latest games mentioned such as Survival Messenger Adventure, and those included in the Halloween and Treasure Hunt Jam. But now we turn our attention to another text adventure game that's worth a look in, as according to Sunteam, they have released a high quality adventure game for the ZX Spectrum NEXT called 'Golden Seas'; a game that was originally written using Adventuron and converted to the Spectrum Next using DAAD Ready (converter by @uto_dev).

It was only last year that we featured a really cool looking game called ' Grelox '; an upcoming game by Sunteam, that's not only an action platformer, but it has the retro feel of an old Master System Game with inspirations to ZILLION and using the Master System Palette. Well if you've been following the game's developments and hoping for a release, will be pleased to learn that as of today the game is now available and can be played completely free!

Not long ago we gave a hearty mention to Sunteam's WIP action platformer of ' Grelox ', which looked like a mix of an old DOS game with the flavour of a NES title, but turned out to be an upcoming PC game using a non limited Master System palette to give it that authentic feel. Thankfully the game is still progressing well as of this week the team behind the game has released a new video show casting updated levels and enemies.

With our article of Alex Kidd in Miracle World remake going crazy numbers with everyone talking about it on the internet, we thought we'd give a shout to another fine game that's currently being developed, and this one is an action platformer with a very retro feel titled as Grelox. Now originally I thought the game had more of an MS-DOS feel, but according to Sunteam, this game will be coming to the PC and will be using a non limited Master System palette to give it that authentic feel, as well as the hope of using SMS style music when the game is complete.

That Sinking Feeling - Paul Weller's first ZX Spectrum game gets a release!

We nearly missed out on this one but not any more, as Solaris104 contacted us to tell us that Paul Weller's new ZX Spectrum game of ' That Sinking Feeling ' which was developed using Arcade Game Designer by Jonathan Cauldwell and additional music by Grigoriy Klimenko is available to play right now! If you love your watery speccy games then give this a try, as after learning about the lost treasures deep in the depths of Atlantis, you must explore deep underwater ruins looking for treasures, while also avoiding viscous creatures, toxic fumes and dangerous free-floating mines left over from the old war.

Mega Vault - Vic-20 adaption features the famous Horace in a Spectrum style on the PC (WIP)

Many of you might remember this wide eyed, blob character with arms and legs, that first appeared way back in 1982 in the Pac-Man style arcade game of Hungry Horace by Beam Software. Which was celebrated as the first arcade game for the ZX Spectrum and the first game in the Horace series, such as Horace and the Spiders and Horace Goes Skiing. But now as a complete twist to the series, the developers Sunteam are making an adaptation/expansion of the Vic-20 game Mega Vault, featuring the famous Horace in a Spectrum style for the PC.
