Clash of Tanks - Another Tank game appears and this one is for the ZX Spectrum

While the other Tank game which had inspirations to Combat was released for the Commodore 64, thanks to Liqmatrix giving us the heads up earlier today, we've been told you can download the Tank game of Clash of Tanks for the ZX Spectrum by Gonwonlane. A new game which features epic Tank battles with up to 4 player multiplayer combat! In light of this news Saberman should be doing a gameplay video at some point during today.

Czolgi - An Atari 2600 Combat inspiration arrives on the C64 via Protovision

Some cool news indeed especially if you grew up on the Atari 2600 as well as the much later Atari 8bit as you'll be interested to hear, that Protovision has released the Commodore 64 game of Czolgi. A new game which is an inspiration to Combat that was first shown at the Christmas Live event with Demoscene #3 for up to 4 player(?) tank based combat. In light of this news, Saberman has done a video of the game for us, which as ever can be viewed below.

Panzer - Strategy game released by Sputnik World for the C64

Moving away from the platformers and shoot em ups, we now look towards Sputnik World for our C64 goodness. As unlike those genres, this one is a strategy game set in World War 2 called 'Panzer'. This game released just recently, pits your tanks against other tanks as you move around the map area to take control of a multitude of enemy bases to complete the mission.

Tanks Furry - Tank based shooter for the Amiga gets a floppy update!

Only just the other week we mentioned the top down tank shooter " Tanks Furry " developed by PROJECT R3D, which was up for pre-order for the Amiga and due to be released next month Feb 2016. Featuring hand made school pixel graphics, a dedicated chip tune and sfx, over 40 missions to play, several themed zones such as woodlands and deserts, five different tanks and even multiplayer, we have been informed by Solo that this lovely looking game has been updated with a floppy edition! That means if you order the main CD release and pay 5,00 PLN on top, you'll also get lots of lovely floppies. - Fantastic!

We have been informed by our good friend Solo that the top down tank shooter with furry drivers, hence the name " Tanks Furry ", is now up for pre-order for the Amiga. Developed by PROJECT R3D and second place winner at the retrokomp 2015, features hand made school pixel graphics, a dedicated chip tune and sfx, over 40 missions to play, several themed zones such as woodlands and deserts, five different tanks and even multiplayer!

Tanks Furry - Tank based shooter gets an official trailer for the Amiga!

Last year we mentioned the special retrokomp 2015 demo edition of Tanks Furry by Pawel Nowak, Krzysztof Matys and Marcin Swiech for the Amiga 1200 and above. It was a rather nice looking top down shooter that had explosions, power ups, great detail and cool animations. Well that same game made by a group named as PROJECT R3D will be released towards Feb 2016. To coincide with this news, a new official trailer has been released!
