Bridge Strike - Modern 'River Raid' on the Amiga is now ready to enjoy!

As we said before in our recent article, many months ago the creators of Tanks Furry , Project R3D, released a teaser for their in development Amiga game ' Bridge Strike ', which had a backers winter demo along side the announced AmiGameJam and was awarded second place in the Game Competition at RetroKomp event in Gdańsk. But today there's a BIG shocker, as although Bridge Strike was due to be released during April, we've actually been told the full game can be digitally downloaded RIGHT NOW!

But today the developers have given us another update, as not only is the game classed as a modern version of Activision's River Raid, but the website is now accepting pre-orders for the digital download!

But today the developers have given us a BIG update, as not only is the game classed as a modern version of Activision's River Raid, but thanks to a heads up by Per Ola and Saberman, we now know the game has been officially placed online ready for ordering!

Lumberjack Reloaded WIP - An enhanced version of an already ported C64 to Amiga game

As we said before in our previous article last year via the CSDb database, the Megastyle, Protovision & Atlantis group released the C64 homebrew game of ' Lumberjack ', which put you in the mighty boots of a Lumberjack chopping down trees as fast as he can, without being bashed by the big branches above. It was a highly addictive game on the C64 that was later ported over to the Amiga as an almost 1:1 conversion thanks to Cobe and Lemming880. But now thanks to a great heads up by Solo Kazuki, an enhanced version is being developed titled as "Lumberjack Reloaded".

But today the developers have given us a further update, as not only is the game now classed as a modern version of Activision's River Raid , but they have also released a number of screenshots, extra game info and the system requirements.

Project R3D 2016/17 are back in the news again as they have launched a brand new teaser trailer for their upcoming Winter Demo from a top down scrolling shooter known as ' Bridge Strike '. Developed by the same team behind the excellent game Tanks Furry, the latest update of Bridge Strike has been announced along side AmiGameJam and will be made available at some point soon. It will feature high quality graphics, weather effects, enemies to destroy such as blimps, refuelling and will have a modern look to that of the classic game ' River Raid '.

From the developers of that excellent game Tanks Furry, Project R3D 2016 have now made available the demo for their latest Amiga game Bridge Strike, which came 2nd place in the game dev compo at RKLE 2016. Classed as a top scrolling shooting game, Bridge Strike looks to be inspired by that classic game River Raid but with top quality graphics, wicked tunes and blasting action!

During last week and into this weekend, Amiga gamers across the globe were shouting to the hill tops that they had finally received the most eagerly awaited of commercial Amiga games ' Tanks Furry ', developed by PROJECT R3D. It was a game that was originally teased at the retrokomp 2015 and came second place much to the delight of the developers. Well fast forward to now and this rather delightful game featuring hand made school pixel graphics, a dedicated chip tune and sfx, over 40 missions to play, several themed zones such as woodlands and deserts, five different tanks and even multiplayer. Doesn't just have a lovely commercial package, but you can play the updated free 1.2 version with a trainer thanks to Flashtro, and the Amiga CD32 version thanks to Earok and team.

Only just the other week we mentioned the top down tank shooter " Tanks Furry " developed by PROJECT R3D, which was up for pre-order for the Amiga and due to be released next month Feb 2016. Featuring hand made school pixel graphics, a dedicated chip tune and sfx, over 40 missions to play, several themed zones such as woodlands and deserts, five different tanks and even multiplayer, we have been informed by Solo that this lovely looking game has been updated with a floppy edition! That means if you order the main CD release and pay 5,00 PLN on top, you'll also get lots of lovely floppies. - Fantastic!

Last year we mentioned the special retrokomp 2015 demo edition of Tanks Furry by Pawel Nowak, Krzysztof Matys and Marcin Swiech for the Amiga 1200 and above. It was a rather nice looking top down shooter that had explosions, power ups, great detail and cool animations. Well that same game made by a group named as PROJECT R3D will be released towards Feb 2016. To coincide with this news, a new official trailer has been released!
