A Blast From The Past - A modern Galaxian remake that looks pretty decent! (Sega Mega Drive WIP too)

Galaxian has appeared on Indie Retro News many times over the years, especially as it is one particular Arcade classic that homebrew developers love making clones of with special effects and bonus power ups. Well here's a news update that is sure to excite those who love playing this game back in the day, as not only can you play what looks to be a very modernized version of Galaxian via Steam, but Happy Cactus Games Limited is also working on a Sega Mega Drive version too!

  5. It has powerups, bosses, snakes, scrolling nebula levels and all sorts of nice stuff. Isn’t it more like galaga88 than galaxian?

  6. The genesis rom has been updated to use the real level data straight from the PC to Sega Genesis! Browse your game files on steam and load genesisrom.bin in to your favourite emulator to see it!
