If Karate chops and high powered kicks is your idea of fun, then 'Apple IIgs Karate' published by Brutal Deluxe Software for the Apple IIgs might just be the game for you. You see this isn't just a Karate game, but from reading the comments under the video itself, this is a port of the 1986 Atari ST game "ST Karate" by Paradox/Eidersoft. In light of this news, not only can you play the game right now, but there's also a new gameplay video viewable below.

Don Bluth's Dragon's Lair and Dragon's Lair II available for the Apple IIgs!
Now I remember Dragon's Lair very well, from the Amstrad version with the jumping of platforms or trying to stay on the spinning disk without being blown off, or the interactive animated version which appeared as a laserdisc in which you needed to press a specific direction at the right time to survive. Both were simply brilliant games, but what has surprised me today is Antoine Vignau with Olivier Zardini has announced in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Brutal Deluxe Software, they have released the interactive games of Dragon's Lair and Dragon's Lair II for the Apple IIgs.
Space Quest II review - A classic Sci-fi adventure reviewed by DarkwyndPT
So, the new MCU movie, Captain Marvel, is on cinemas right now and as far as I remember, Carol Danvers isn’t in any video game whatsoever, so I decided to just review a classic sci-fi game set in space. And why not Space Quest II? Space Quest II: Chapter II – Vohaul’s Revenge is a graphic adventure made by Sierra and originally released in 1987 for the Apple II, Atari ST and DOS. It was re-released the following year for Amiga, Apple IIgs and Macintosh.
Jumpman Forever - A very classic platformer for the modern era (Kickstarter)
Game Type : Retro Platformer
Kickstarter Goal : $20,000
Developer, Project By : Davis Ray Sickmon, Jr
Game Info Quote : We're bringing back Jumpman into a totally new set of truly old-school style video-game. Now, if you're familiar with classic video games, there's a good chance you've played Jumpman on a Commodore 64, Atari 400/800, IBM PC (including the Jumpman Lives! remake), Apple ][, or maybe one of the modern re-releases on the C64 TV setup or in the Wii's Virtual Library if you were in the UK. The core of Jumpman was a combination of a solid control system and puzzle based gameplay. Every level was a different set of challenges, ranging from just dodging the bullets, to malfunctioning robots, vampire bats, falling bombs, moving bombs, disintegrating platforms, to invisible levels who's layouts you have to discover. For those who are modern gamers, it requires the intelligent gameplay levels of Portal, while maintaining the old-school 2D twitch requirements of games like Donkey Kong.

Games I remember, with a remake - Dungeon Master
Well the time has finally arrived, it's time for Dungeon Master. The most epic of Dungeon Crawlers ever created, a game so popular that if you went onto any gaming forum today and said Dungeon Master you'd probably get every retro gamer going in a posting frenzy. But what is Dungeon Master? Dungeon Master is an early grid-based 3D real time rpg, that was first developed and published by FTL Games for the Atari ST in 1987. It was so popular that it sold over 40,000 copies and became the ST's best selling product of all time, but even though it's home was the Atari ST, it went onto other platforms.
