Sydney Hunter & The Yucatan Jungle - The most advanced ColecoVision game ever made (for the stock system) is coming this year!

In the early 80's many of us had the pleasure of playing the adventure platformer 'Montezuma's Revenge' on the Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Apple II, ColecoVision, Commodore 64, IBM PC, Sega Master System and even the ZX Spectrum (as Panama Joe). It combined treasure hunting, lots of rooms, puzzle solving and deadly traps and enemies that needed to be avoided almost as if you were playing as Indiana Jones himself. But now once again we look towards a new game in that style, as Collectorvision Games has announced Sydney Hunter & The Yucatan Jungle will be coming to the ColecoVision as the most advanced ColecoVision game ever made (for the stock system)!

Sydney Hunter and the Sacred Tribe - A fabulous platformer gets a multicolor enhancement for the C64

Way back in 2018 we announced on Indie Retro News that CollectorVision Games awesome platformer of Sydney Hunter and the Sacred Tribe, was released for the C64 via Acclaim; a game which was coded by Wanax with top quality graphics by Saul Cross. Well fast forward to today and thanks yet again to Saberman who sent us this surprising news, as Sydney Hunter and the Sacred Tribe has been re-released as an enhanced version by Hokuto Force featuring Multicolour and a +7DW 101% trainer.

Justice Beaver – The Great Timber Tantrum - Upcoming SNES game by CollectorVision Games

Thankfully there's another piece of gaming news to get you through the evening, as we've just been told by CollectorVision Games that they have announced a new video update to their upcoming SNES game Justice Beaver. According to the team behind this game "Justice Beaver was initially influenced by a great game called Rick Dangerous, however they have listened to the fans, and are now making this game completely unique, including one of a kind level designs and new gameplay".

As many of you were aware by now, Collector Vision Games had released a great game called Sydney Hunter and the Caverns of Death for the SNES in which you play as Sydney trapped inside an ancient volcanic cavern and the aim to survive and win your freedom. Well if you don't have a SNES and instead a Sega Master System, you'll be pleased to know Collector Vision Games has shown off the latest work in progress footage of this upcoming SMS game!

Well we are pleased to tell you that not only was Sydney Hunter and the Sacred Tribe made available a little while ago for both the ColecoVision and the Intellivision, but this rather neat platformer was since made available for the C64!

During the last couple of months we've been keeping you up to date with Collectorvision Games upcoming retro inspired platformer called Sydney Hunter and the Curse of the Mayan, which is going to be coming to PC, Xbox One and Switch this fall, with plans to port to the PS4 later this year. Well if you've been following this Montezuma's Revenge inspired title of epic proportions, you'll be pleased to know the company have released a sneak peak footage of the game running on the Nintendo Switch.

Dead Tomb - A new NES game by CollectorVision Games is nearly here

CollectorVision Games, the team behind the upcoming Sydney Hunter and the Curse of the Mayan and have just announced via their Twitter page of a new game that is coming to the NES and will be offered as a limited edition gold cart and regular grey edition cart. Titled as 'Dead Tomb', this game is a love letter to Temporel Inc and will be a point and click adventure game in which you play as part of the Videoway Corp from 3017 captured in 1300 BC by the Pharaoh Seti 1st’ soldiers and placed inside an ancient pyramid.
