Hero Quest improved for the Amstrad CPC!

Way back in the early 90's a fantastic top down game based on an original board game was released by Gremlin, that became hugely popular to the point of receiving great reviews and ending up as one of the top most recommended games to have in any retro collection. That game was none other than ' Hero Quest ', a video game adaptation with a great soundtrack, of the fantasy board-game from Games Workshop and Milton Bradley. So you'll have to forgive my over excitement as I have just found out through Xenomorph, that Hero Quest is getting an improved version for the Amstrad CPC.

Dark Quest 2 - A nod to the legendary board and video game Hero Quest

Hero U Rogue to Redemption - Retro inspired RPG looking for a second round Kickstarter

Legendary game series Quest For Glory creators are having a second stab at raising funds for their new adventure/RPG Hero U. An extended development time and a much higher bar for the scope of the game has meant that if the Coles are to release the best adventure they possibly can, and for it to be 100% crowd funded, they are going to need an extra push to get them to release by the end of the year.

Sunday Remix! - A nice Amiga mix of music for today's tunes! (06/04/14)

Good evening readers, you may have noticed the lack of posts this weekend. That was due to me being unwell and also having to deal with a corrupt operating system and a busted soundcard. Thankfully, I was able to use the mac and pick some damn fine tunes for you today. Now today's tunes are all Amiga remixes unlike the recent retro head bangers, but that doesn't mean they don't sound as good! So as usual, sit back and enjoy but because some of these really are very famous games.
