I was just about to go to bed when my mobile started dinging at me to let me know of a new message in my inbox. As soon as I saw Earok's name popping up, telling me of a new Amiga CD32 release, I was just too excited to ignore it and thus turned my computer on to share this glorious news. It's the ' Amiga CD32 Bubble Bobble Trilogy ' by AmigaJay, a brand new Amiga CD32 conversion by the same person who also does those fantastic CD sized CD32 covers!

Mogwash - Adorable platformer aims for a Steam Greenlight success

Pabagames recently contacted us to let us know about their rather adorable and cute, retro inspired game that's currently going through a Steam Greenlight campaign. In truth, it has inspirations based on Wonder Boy and Rainbow Islands, but also inspired by PC Shareware games such as the platformer Duke Nukem. This is their latest game from the co-creator of Jasper's Journeys - ' Mogwash '; in which you need to save Sludge City from looting, polluting gangsters and eat lots of delicious mogsnacks on the way. Mogwash is a pile of retro goodness all squashed into one ginormous pie!

Bard's Gold - Retro inspired platformer now on Steam‏!

Another successful Steam Greenlight campaign for mention today, is Pixel Lantern's retro inspired platformer of ' Bard's Gold' which is now available on Steam. Combining classic platformer elements with RPG factors such as upgrading and levelling up, you play as a Bard on a quest to recover his family's gold after it was stolen by a goblin. If you do not do this in time, an evil spirit may be unleashed upon the world still contained within the treasure!

Bard's Gold - Retro inspired platformer for Steam Greenlight votes

Now available to vote for on Steam Greenlight is Rainbow Island-inspired 2D retro arcade platformer Bard's Gold. The game combines classic platformer elements with RPG factors such as upgrading and levelling up. Plot centers around the protagonist's efforts to return his family's Bard's Gold - as the title suggests - to its rightful place after it is stolen by a goblin.
