From the same developer who brought you Monty's Honey Run and Monty Mole and the Lost Souls, Andy Johns has since announced that his previously released 2017 ZX Spectrum game of ' Ooze ', has now been made available through itch io. For those of you who don't remember this game, it is a high quality platformer that also features menu art and code by David Saphier, as well as menu music by Miguel/CPU and some in game music by Rayden/Vitali.

Rubicon - Run the Maze - Rucksack Games announces a new ZX Spectrum game
Great news if you are a ZX Spectrum gamer as we've just found out through Facebook, that John Blythe of Rucksack Games has announced the release of his latest ZX Spectrum game ' Rubicon - Run the Maze '. Yes indeed from the same developer who brought you RavenWood, Foggy, Circuitry and even Professor, comes a brand new game where you play as NYM on a right of passage that must cross the Rubicon maze!
ROVR - A new ZX Spectrum game from ancient Egypt
Moving away from emails and looking towards Twitter, we were recently tagged by RetroVideoGamer in regards a new game called ROVR - Remote Operated Vehicle Recovery, which has since been released via thespectrumshow. Featuring the music(128k) of Alone Coder implemented by David Saphier, this game was created by Paul Jenkinson with a story of vast treasure hunting as part of an exclusive team sent into the deserts of ancient Egypt.
Airwolf Sprite Mod - Allan Turvey tweaks a classic ZX Spectrum game
Ask most retro gamers or people of middle age and upwards about the name Airwolf and they'd probably tell you of a TV series in the late 80's that revolved around a rather powerful military helicopter and its crew undertaking missions with cool action sequences. In fact living on in memory with that awesome theme tune, the TV show did even appear as its very own game on multiple platforms such as the Amstrad and the even the ZX Spectrum, but sadly the games were nowhere as good as the TV show.... At least until now!
Roust! ZX81 Birthday Edition - Allan Turvey celebrates the ZX81!
Well this is a bit of a surprise as I thought Allan Turvey's Spectrum conversion of Joust couldn't get any better, yet here we are mentioning the ZX81 version of Roust! Which has since been released for all to enjoy. Yes indeed in celebration of the ZX81 home computer produced by Sinclair Research and manufactured in Scotland by Timex Corporation, Highrise Electronics Inc have released the Roust! ZX81 Birthday Edition in celebration of 37 years since the computer appeared in our hands.

It's not even Monday yet and this weekend has been feature packed with games, so to catch up on the latest updates, we've recently been contacted by a friend of David Clarke, that his ZX Spectrum game of ' Impossabubble ', is not only due to be released soon but he's made available a sneak peak gameplay video that shows just how good this game will be - all designed in Arcade Game Designer!
Roust - Arcade to Speccy port of Joust gets a full release
The ZX-Dev conversion competition is nearly over and throughout the competition we've had some fantastic games that are all aiming for many of the prizes on offer such as my ZX Spectrum tape 'Thrust'. Well if you've been following the news you would've been aware that Allan Turvey had released a demo of his ZX Spectrum conversion of Joust which is called 'Roust'. That same has again appeared in our news feeds but this time not only is it FINISHED but we have the full version in our hands.

It may be a new year into 2018 but as the ZX-Dev conversions competition is still progressing, we've recently been contacted by Allan Turvey, that his ZX Spectrum conversion of Joust has been announced and is coming to the speccy titled as ' Roust '. This new game that is going to be released by Highrise Electronics Inc and music by David Saphier, load screen by Craig Howard, is currently being developed using Arcade Game Designer and the team hope that Roust will be as enjoyable as the Arcade original.
B-Squared - A very square platformer released for the ZX Spectrum
Announced just moments ago via his twitter profile, Paul Jenkinson with music by David Saphier and Sergey Nilov have released the charming little game ' B-Squared ' for the ZX Spectrum. In this new game you play as a single blocked square and must make your way through 31 screens to complete the game. Be aware, not only can you die by touching nasties and evil spikes, but you can only jump upwards! So think carefully before your next move.
Benny Hill's Madcap Chase 128k - ZX Spectrum game now with added Benny Hill Theme
Not long ago on this very website we were talking about the 1985 ZX Spectrum game 'Benny Hill's Madcap Chase' by Don Priestley; a game released by DKTronics based on the famous Thames TV show, with hilarious runarounds as you grab pieces of clothing and get chased by a woman with rather big boobs! We also went on to say after a conversation between Allan Turvey and David Saphier they decided to add a Benny Hill Theme into the game, to see just how much difference a tune can really make.

As many of you have played the game, there was something missing that would make all the difference, and after a conversation between Allan Turvey and David Saphier they decided to add a Benny Hill Theme into the game, to see just how much difference a tune can really make.
Terrapins RX - Allan Turvey's Rally X Remix using ZX Spectrum Terrapins!
As many of you are aware by now Allan Turvey, David Saphier and Craig Howard's excellent ZX Spectrum Arcade remake of ' Terrapins ', will be commercially released via Cronosoft very soon as its very own cassette which also contains the very latest edition of InvAGDers Deluxe completely free. It was only just last month that I did a review of the Arcade remake of ' Terrapins ' on the ZX Spectrum by Highrise developed using Arcade Game Designer. A game by Allan Turvey, David Saphier and Craig Howard, featured high quality gameplay and a fantastic soundtrack that will be commercially released via Cronosoft in the next few weeks as its very own cassette. But what I didn't tell you as I found out recently, is you'll also be able to play a damn fine version of Space Invaders to go with it!
Terrapins - An excellent ZX Spectrum remake of an 80's coin op!
The last news of today and a damn good one at that, is this weeks release of the Arcade remake of ' Terrapins ', which was an original Arcade game in 1981 now colourfully playable on the ZX Spectrum by Highrise and developed using Arcade Game Designer. This lovely commercial game with a demo available as well, puts you in control as Mama Terrapin, who has to save her babies from the evil bugs that are scattered throughout a large eight storey building!
Space Junk - Miguetelo Art's new ZX Spectrum game with music by David Saphier
As it's the 35th birthday of the ZX Spectrum and we've already mentioned the ZX Spectrum BASIC Jam earlier today, how about playing a new game by Miguetelo Art, with music coded by David Saphier, called ' Space Junk '! This is a brand new game released recently that was made with AGD and features your very own space ship in which you need to clear the level from all the space junk
