Pico Monsters - Pokemon meets the Pico-8 by hcnt!

Another day another Pico-8 game and this time we are grabbing that Nintendo classic Pokemon changing it around and releasing it on the Pico-8 as ' Pico Monsters ' developed by hcnt. But before you get too excited this isn't a full conversion of Pokemon but a pokemon-esque jrpg, that features picostops, monsters, people to talk to and a chippy little soundtrack.

Animal Album! - Pokemon style RPG with real animals for Kickstarter funding

Hello there! Now this is not a review this time! (I know it's all I have done so far) "WHAT?!-" I hear you scream at me, scaring my dog "NOT A REVIEW?! Well then what IS it?" I'll tell you what it is! It's just me telling you about a game. The game is called "Animal Album!" by Sjors Jansen and it's about a robot who seems to be documenting every animal he comes across! Though this is done by solving puzzles/quizzes and as such could be considered an educational game. The developer describes it as a Pokemon Style RPG with real animals and without the fighting and is up for funding through Kickstarter with a €18,000 goal!

The original developers are still selling Pokemon games and merchandise to this day. So a long comes a free fan based game titled Pokemon : Uranium Version which is using the RPGmaker XP engine and containing top quality game play, which takes place in the Tandor region. You the player must collect 6 Gym Badges in order to compete in the Tandor Regional Championship. Along the way, the player must fill up their Pokedex with over 80 different species of Pokemon. This is no small game either with the latest released beta having approx 11 hours long and contains 9 towns, 5 badges, 6 sidequests and over 85 Pokemon. Can you catch them all?

Pokemon 3D - I haz 3D Pokemonz!

Well look who's back! It's your favourite pokemon fanatic! Well favourite for some of you, as some of you may raise pitch forks when you see me ;). So here comes Pokemon 3D! Now when I first heard of this I thought it was to do with the 3DS, but I was sorely mistaken. It's a PC game! From first glance it seems to be based solely on Pokemon gold/silver,  it also advertises having 20maps, whether this includes entering caves and buildings or just the routes and cities I'm not sure, but here is the latest update for you to gander at
