Prisoner of War - A rather cool looking MSX1 game can now be pre-ordered

MSX owners have we got news for you, as we've just been told the eagerly awaited game of ' Prisoner of War ' can not only be pre-ordered, but if you wait till Christmas you'll probably be able to play it all through the festive season! This game developed by @unepic_fran, with music and sound effects by @jvicentemz, and @Gryzor87, is certain to appeal to those who like stealth games. As playing as a Prisoner of War shot down in a helicoptor, you'll need to escape by any means possible.

It's time to give the MSX1 a bit of retro love as we've just found out as of this December, the developer @unepic_fran, with music and sound effects by @jvicentemz, and @Gryzor87 will be releasing their current work in progress game of Prisoner of War for the MSX. 2Dark - Dark and terrifying stealth adventure from Alone in the Dark creator releases March 17th

PQube has just informed us about their new upcoming title known as 2Dark that releases 17th March in the UK for Playstation 4, Xbox One and Steam. This upcoming title is a terrifying stealth adventure horror game developed by Frédérick Raynal, the pioneer of survival horror games and creator of Alone in the Dark. You must make your way through tight corridors and dimly lit rooms, the lairs of the Psychopath as a former detective Mr. Smith who vows to find the kidnapped children!

Secret of Escape - Can you reach the red zone before you explode?

If so, Secret of Escape developed by Gamepopper will either kill you by not reaching the end zone or kill you by some rather nasty traps. It was a brilliant game for it's time and still is today, as you steal worldly goods and avoid being detected by the armed guards of the city. Well this is something you don't see every day, a successful mobile game making the jump to desktop. Moonshot games have taken their Ex-Bungie earned talent, poured it into a a slick iOS crime/stealth thriller and have now brought it to Steam's Desktop platform, tweaked suitably for mouse play. With a classic '20/30s "Private Dick" style including mellow jazz soundtrack, wide lapeled suits and fedora hats abound, this game certainly has the atmosphere nailed.

We've been naughty lately, we haven't posted many free indie games! Well that is about to change right now as we have Oliver Twist to show you. A fun free browser based game in which you play as a famous character from the fun re-telling of Oliver Twist in a game of thievery and escapism.  Developed by Shortee you'll need to pickpocket the rich for the criminal gang leader Fagin, but watch out because if the cops catch you you'll be given a good telling off.

Ahmet Simitcioglu has just given us the heads up about a new game called Master Spy, which is a stealth based platformer from Turbogun, that features top notch stealth game play and retro style cutscenes. With the aid of your prototype cloaking suit you play as the Master Spy in a mission to uncover a plot of conspiracy. Featuring 50 levels across 5 unique environments, Cinematic Pixel Art Cutscenes and a great soundtrack this is a game worthy of recommendation. Not just that but the developers have also released a demo of which you can try and you'll see why it was a Steam Greenlight success!

LEVEL 22, Gary's Misadventures - A game of comedy and stealth available next week on Steam

NOEGO have just sent us the heads up that their Stealth Comedy game, Level 22 - Gary's Misadventures will be appearing on Steam next week! You play as Gary who is just an average office worker that has a really bad habit of being late, and if it happens again he will be fired! As Gary likes his partying, it happened again, he's late, so it's up to you to get him to level 22 without being spotted. Hilarity ensues as you try to avoid the many working staff while trying to get your office, so strategy and planning is the aim of the game, oh and don't get fired! Level 22 was just recently a Steam Greenlight success and I can see why, it really is a fun game.

We've had a number of emails letting us know about Gunpoint, so here it is. If you want a wicked 2D stealth game from the brainchild of PC Gamer UK's editor Tom Francis, then you can do no wrong with this stealthy title. Gunpoint was recently released on Steam with much praise, especially as you play the part of a freelance spy on a mission to steal sensitive data for his clients. But what makes it that ever more enjoyable, is the tools at your disposal such as a device that will let you rewire lights, switches, cameras and doors. If you fancy a bit of action though, you can even punch people out of windows.
