Tower 57 - Retro inspired shooter gets an Amiga release!


After all the news updates regarding Benitosub and Cyangmou's 16-bit shooter ' Tower 57 ' ; which is an arcade love child of Alien Breed and Chaos Engine. We are pleased to announce this fantastic game has been released for the Amiga such as AmigaOS 4.1, MorphOS and AROS. This game that smashed through a Kickstarter success and Steam Greenlight, was previously released for the PC and was regarded as a great game that anyone could pick up and play.

Into The Rift - An awesome pixelated action platformer teased!


There are many platformers out there, some are very simplistic, while others are both high in graphical design and playability. One such game ' Into The Rift ' looks to have everything you need in a platformer and that little bit more. Designed by WestonPDX, Into The Rift is a running, jumping and weapon slashing metroidvania that has a number rather interesting moves that is sure to make this game a bit of a jaw-dropper. To coincide with this news, the developers have released lots of animated gifs.

After all the pushing and persuading we did for Benitosub and Cyangmou's 16-bit shooter ' Tower 57 ' ; which is an arcade love child of Alien Breed and Chaos Engine, we are pleased to show the game off again with brand new gifs and an alpha update. This recent Steam Greenlight and Kickstarter success for PC, MAC and even an Amiga port appeared in our news feed today, as the developers had sent out an mail to specific Alpha-tier (and above) backers containing the download link for their very first Alpha build.  ( Warning gif heavy )

Slain! - Gorgeous gifs from this gorish platformer.


Through all these months, we've been giving you the latest on Slain! which is a pretty impressive looking pixelated gory platformer by Wolfbrew Games that is due for release Dec 9th 2015 for PC, Mac and Linux. Well that same game, of which we were one of the first to give you the heads up, is now being shown off with some rather fancy animated gifs that are sure to appeal to even the most hardiest of gamer. Slain! - Gorish platformer gets a new gameplay trailer and more!


We were one of the first sites to mention this gorish platformer of Slain! developed by A Wolf Brew Games, which is coming to your PC, MAC and Linux for Steam 2015. But now those same developers behind this incredibly pixelated mash of blood and body parts, not seen since the days of Moonstone have now not only released a game play trailer featuring Metal music from Celtic Frost, but also some new animated gifs to get your bloody giblit juices flowing! This weekend has been absolutely perfect for retro gamers, such as the recent release of Nostalgia's Ghosts'n Goblins Arcade, but now it's time to once again feature the more modern game but with a retro inspired twist, Benitosub and Cyangmou's 16-bit shooter 'Tower 57'. As we said before 'Tower 57' is set in a dystopian future; an arcade love child of Alien Breed and Chaos Engine with fantastic 16-bit styled pixel art and interactive and destructive environments. It is one of our most eagerly awaited games and going by our site stats it's yours too.
