Robot Jet Action - An upcoming game created by C64portal.pl for the C64 gets a new update tease

Even more C64 games to get through this week, as we've recently been informed by Saberman that the upcoming game 'Robot Jet Action' by C64Portal which was teased way back in June of last year, has been shown off with another teaser preview. A preview which gives us a new look at the gameplay, level creation, worlds, boss fights, music, character design, enemies and the ever increasing challenges to be found through the many worlds in the game!

Even more C64 games to get through this week, as we've been informed by Tomek that the upcoming game 'Robot Jet Action' by C64Portal, has been shown off with another teaser preview giving us a new look at the gameplay, level creation, worlds, music, character design and enemies. Although they do state some aspects of the gameplay may change as development progresses.

Golden Tail - A new Amstrad CPC game in dev and it looks good!

Good morning everyone I'm back after a short break and what a way to start, as Reidrac has announced his latest game in development for the Amstrad, ' Golden Tail '. Using features from the Space Pest Control engine, this looks to be a pure platformer with jumping, collection and avoiding mechanics but inspired by Japanese Folklore. Also as another neat ability, your character Kitsune can use ninja magic to disappear to avoid certain enemies, move faster, and to reach specific areas in the game.

Into The Rift - An awesome pixelated action platformer teased!

There are many platformers out there, some are very simplistic, while others are both high in graphical design and playability. One such game ' Into The Rift ' looks to have everything you need in a platformer and that little bit more. Designed by WestonPDX, Into The Rift is a running, jumping and weapon slashing metroidvania that has a number rather interesting moves that is sure to make this game a bit of a jaw-dropper. To coincide with this news, the developers have released lots of animated gifs.

Sam's Journey - Jaw dropping C64 platformer Part 1 A Pirate's Life For Sam!

We've just been given an exclusive heads up of a brand new game play tease release for Knights of Bytes amazingly jaw dropping C64 platformer 'Sam's Journey'. In development for the C64, this latest gameplay tease titled 'Part 1 A Pirate's Life For Sam', shows off Sam's special abilities such as being able to pick up items, carry them around and throw at enemies. What's more it gives us a first hand look into Sam turning into a Pirate that enables him to use his sword!

Pankapu The Dreamkeeper - Action platformer reaches alpha stage

The French developer Too Kind Studio have contacted us to announce the alpha release version of 'Pankapu The Dreamkeeper'; a 2D action platformer inspired by old school games of the 90's. Set in a dreamlike world of Omnia, the player controls Pankapu, a tiny being created by the God of dreams in order to defeat the hordes of nightmares that try to infiltrate his world. During his quest he will meet many characters in this beautiful narrative and episodic story based platformer.

Death's Gambit - A beautifully pixelated action RPG Reveal Trailer

Way back in July of last year we gave an eye opening mention to a pixelated action RPG called Death's Gambit. Developed by White Rabbit, Death's Gambit is a beautifully pixelated Action RPG sidescrolling game set in an alien medieval planet filled with horrors, beasts, and knights. It had the most impressive looking pixels for a pixelated game in all of 2014, and today the developers have just launched a reveal trailer, with a possible Kickstarter coming at some point soon!

From Bedrooms to Billions: The Amiga Years film teaser

So what do you do when you've done a successful kickstarter for a film, shot so much footage that cutting it down to a 5 hour long film was hard enough and there also just so happens to be a massive re-surgence in amiga nostalgia and hype around the 30th anniversary of the Amiga? Make a separate movie just about the Amiga of course in 'From Bedrooms to Billions: The Amiga Years'.

It Came From the Desert Motion Picture set for 2016 release!

After much wondering, Cinemaware has finally come forward and properly announced the release for the 'It Came From the Desert' motion picture; a motion picture adaptation of the classic 80's game It Came From the Desert. According to Cinemaware, the development comes from Iron Sky producer Tero Kaukomaa who is filling an executive producer role on a Finnish backed, English language big screen adaptation of classic 1980s game. To go with this latest news they have recently released a debut trailer!

The Deep Paths - Work in progress Demo tease for the latest Dungeon Crawler!

Developed by Steve Jarman, The Deep Paths is a Dungeon Crawler that has inspirations from well known classics such as Dungeon Master, Eye of the Beholder and Lands of Lore but with new innovations to give it the more modern edge. Although we have featured the game before during it's failed Kickstarter, the developer never gave up and has now just released a WIP demo tease footage.

Populous - Peter Molyneux godly classic appears on the C64!

If the news of the Maniac Mansion Demo Disk  or the Grubz (Worms Clone) for the C64 didn't blow you away, then the latest C64 preview of Populous probably will. First released in 1989 for the Amiga and then ported over to other systems in the early 90's such as the Acorn 32-bit, Atari ST and DOS. Populous was developed by Peter Molyneux for Bullfrog in which you play as a god, gaming against other gods in a celestial game of conquest. But what didn't happen was a version for the C64, until now!

RollerCoaster Tycoon: World - Gets a Teaser Trailer

Some great news today as finally after all this time Atari has announced the release date for the latest upcoming PC RollerCoaster Tycoon game, RollerCoaster Tycoon World. Developed by Pipeworks Software, RollerCoaster Tycoon World will feature much of what has made the originals so great, with no micro-transactions and all new innovative features to build the park of your dreams. We don't know much more than this but the developers have released a teaser trailer and a release date of early 2015!

Welcome to Black The Fall, which is a side-scrolling shooter with puzzle solving elements that has just appeared on Steam Greenlight. According to the developer, the main focus when designing the game was to create a distinctive atmosphere and exploration, including characters and background elements to be an unforgettable experience. As a Paranormal Investigator myself, I'm very much used to carrying devices in my hand walking through scary places, so it will be interesting to see if this game will actually scare me. Wings - Remastered Edition : EARLY TEASER!

Info : Wings was an all time classic WW1 flight simulator intermixed with arcade bombing runs that was released in the early 90's by Cinemaware for the Amiga. It's one of the all time classic favs for Retro gamers across the world. Its such a sort after classic, that high quality originals sell for a nice bit of dosh on the bay. Even I tried to grab an original in town and was smacked back by it being £40! That was for the Amiga.... Yet fast forward to these last few years and we've had one Kickstarter which was a fail and today's news of a Kickstarter rebirth. That's not all, as Cinemaware are now teasing us with a trailer and the thoughts of a demo. So with a teaser out and a Kickstarter due by the end of the week, I CAN'T WAIT!
