Indiana Jones and the Relic of the Viking Holiday Demo!
Dungeon crawlers and RPG's are not the only genres I'm a huge fan of, as if I showed my adventure game collection on the shelf gleaming with The Secret of Monkey Island, Quest for Glory, Kings Quest or even Indiana Jones that would prove I also have a soft spot for the Adventure genre too. Thankfully it seems others have a spot for games such as Indiana Jones, as just moments ago we were contacted by @CitiesGold that the holiday fan demo called 'INDIANA JONES AND THE RELIC OF THE VIKING' has been released.
Pathway - Beautifully pixelated strategy RPG set in the 1930s!
Another great looking game and no not a retro game that can be launched on an Amiga or C64 is Robotality and Chucklefish's Strategy RPG ' Pathway ', which can be purchased right now via GOG or Steam. This game that stood out on our twitter feed as an Indiana Jones style graphical experience, is a Strategy RPG set in the 1930's great desert wilderness, in which you must outwit your enemies in daring turn-based combat while raiding occult tombs!

Dungeon crawlers are not the only genre I'm a huge fan of, as if I showed my adventure game collection on the shelf gleaming with The Secret of Monkey Island, Quest for Glory, Kings Quest or even Indiana Jones that would prove I also have a soft spot for the Adventure genre too. Thankfully it seems others have a spot for games such as Indiana Jones, as just moments ago Patrik Spacek announced the release of the Indiana Jones Fate of Atlantis Special Edition Demo 2.0!

Organism and Legend of Atlantis - High grade C64 games in final testing!
We've certainly seen some damn fine looking C64 games through 2017 and into 2018, what with the glorious mention of Sam's Journey which saw a commercial release much to the excitement of the C64 community. But today's announcement is again going to be a special one, as according to Trevor Storey both Organism and Legend of Atlantis are in final testing at 99.9% complete! For those of you who have been keeping an eye on these two games, you'll be pleased to know they have also shown off the box art images!
Organism, Legend of Atlantis and more! Teased with new C64 footage by Trevor Storey
Even though I should be taking a break today going by the fact it's my Birthday, I thought this was too good to miss as Trevor Storey has released a new video containing footage for three upcoming C64 games, Organism by Trevor Storey/Achim Volkers, Legend of Atlantis by Trevor Storey/Stuart Collier and Soulless 2 by Trevor Storey and Georg Rottensteiner. These three games have been featured before but not in such visual detail, as now you can get an impression of the music by the awesome Saul Cross, and enjoy a snippet of the rather cool gameplay!

Legend of Atlantis - Whip baddies and explore tombs in this upcoming C64 game
With the awesome looking dungeon crawler of ' Argus ' coming to a C64 near you - August 26th 2017. T Storey, G Rottensteiner, A Volkers and S Collier have once again been teasing their latest in development Indiana Jones style game 'Legend of Atlantis '. While the team is still working on other projects such as Organism and Soulless 2, Legend of Atlantis looks like it will fit a nice gap in the C64 treasure hunting genre, especially with a whip to defend yourself with and the knowledge of secret tombs.
Legend of Atlantis - Could Indiana Jones be coming to a new C64 game?
There hasn't been a month gone by this year that T Storey, G Rottensteiner, A Volkers and S Collier haven't been mentioning C64 games that are currently in development, teased as possible projects or released into the wild. We've had the release of Barnsley Badger, My Life and The Sky is Falling. A Zelda project, a nearly complete Argus, an in development Soulless 2, and even an Aliens game 'Organism'. But you'd think it would stop there, but no, as the same team have recently announced 'Legend of Atlantis', a possible C64 game that looks to feature a famous character Indiana Jones!
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - Lucasfilm Games Adventure C64 port gets an update!
Last year we gave you the special heads up news of the C64 work in progress adventure port of the classic game "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade ", which appeared on the Amiga, PC, Atari ST and Mac. Well fast forward to today and we've just been told by Retro Nerd, that Brick Bami has finally released a new in development tease that shows a number of improvements over from the previous video. As we said before this latest port was never originally released on the C64 and as such the developer hopes to push the game to a feature packed title and one that most C64 owners would be proud to have in their collection.

It can be none other than the Lucasfilm classics such as Outlaws + Handful of Missions, Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders, Indiana Jones® and the Emperor's Tomb™ - , Monkey Island™ 2 Special Edition: LeChuck’s Revenge™, The Dig and LOOM™ - 20% off!
Indiana Jones and the Gold of Gengis Khan - Adventuring for free!
Using the Adventure Game Studio, GABARTS has released his own story for an Indiana Jones adventure. Titled "Indiana Jones and The Gold of Gengis Khan", the game takes place just after Indy has returned home from "The Last Crusade". The player steps into Indy's shoes as he must steal himself for the coming struggle against Mussolini's fascist forces to reach Ulan-Bator first, armed with enough knowledge to beat them to the treasure. A decent effort for an Indiana game but as it's free, it's certainly worth a download!
Star Wars - An all time classic LucasFilms series is now on GOG!
For some weeks now GOG has been keeping it very quiet over which company will be next to appear on GOG and to our surprise it was none other than Lucasfilms (a collaboration with Disney Interactive). With today's announcement comes two incredible titles that are branded as some of the best Star War's games ever released; Star Wars X-Wing & Star Wars Tie Fighter. Play through many missions of space Star Wars combat, play as either the good guys or the bad guys and be immersed in CD-Rom goodness. This is Star Wars at it's best!
