Dungeons alpha opens to the public
Just the other day we previewed Dungeons, and recently Anthony Ball of Sinistersoft informed me that they are opening the alpha program to the public, so if you want to get in on the dungeon crawler action and have an android device, go have a look and sign up here: Google Play Dungeons testing program The slots are limited to 1000 though so don't hang about if you want to get in. Also, as mentioned yesterday, there still isn't much of an actual game yet, but as it gets updated, more real game features will appear and more maps once the the map editor is finished (very soon)
Dungeons - Upcoming multiplayer mobile dungeon adventure
Anthony Ball of Sinistersoft has been keeping me up to date with his current project 'Dungeons', a very familiar style of multiplayer (up to 8) 2D scrolling dungeon adventure with different classes of player (
Ruzar - The Life Stone - Dungeon crawling for your Steam Greenlight votes
Every time a dungeon crawler is announced I get that sense of nostalgia through tight corridors, traps, enemies and side stepping grid based movement. But for a dungeon crawler to be good, it has to live up to games such as Eye of the Beholder, Dungeon Master or the more modern Legend of Grimrock. So here we are with Ruzar - The Life Stone developed by Hammer Glass Studio, a dungeon crawler RPG game currently going through a Steam Greenlight campaign in which you play as an adventurer who needs to discover the powerful Life Stone.
Rogue's Tale - Rogue-like RPG available for Android
I do love a good roguelike RPG, it's one of my favourite genres to play when I'm out with my family, there's nothing like collecting loot and defeating baddies all through an easily playable touch screen device. So it might be worth your time to check out GLHF Games new title, Rogue's Tale. Featuring large procedurally generated dungeons, great android graphics, no in-app purchases, over 120 enemies to defeat and five playable classes, Rogue's Tale is looking to be a fun rogue-like experience that will keep you coming back for more.
A Wizard's Lizard - An action RPG that's crazy fun - Coming June 16th!
Lost Decade Games have just informed us that their Action RPG, A Wizard's Lizard: Immortal Edition, will be available on Steam and Humble on June 16th! A game that looks crazy fun as you play as a pet Lizard who is on a quest to rescue his master from death himself. But there's a cool twist to this game as to when you die it isn't game over, and challenges can only be met when you are dead. A Wizard's Lizard has come a long way from it's original announcement and not only does it have a neat art style but it also features plenty of game play through ever changing dungeons filled with fiendish puzzles, loot and powerful items. Oh and watch out for the hordes, they just don't like you!

Featuring 8 large dungeons, fully scripted bosses, mini bosses, several mini games, custom caves, and a story slightly more elaborate than the usual. So load it up, battle your way through with sword and shield in hand and enjoy the story, of which I wont spoil.

Crypt Run : Death is just the beginning - A hack 'n slash game with a difference in life and death (Kickstarter+Demo)
Game Type : Hack and Slash
Developer/Project By : Matt Hackett
Kickstarter Goal : $5,000
Developer Quote : Crypt Run is an ever-changing medieval fantasy hack 'n slash game that isn't over when you lose your life.
Game Info Quote : This is an arcade-style medieval fantasy hack 'n slash. The dungeons change each playthrough and always offer new situations to handle. Crypt Run presents combat, exploration, and collection in a playful medieval fantasy world. What makes Crypt Run special is its unique death mechanic -- the game isn’t over when you die in Crypt Run! The action takes place in dungeons, which are comprised of a series of rooms packed with interesting monsters, traps, and loot. Explore the rooms to collect powerups and dodge hazards. Attack and kill monsters by throwing swords, daggers, axes, and other fun weapons. When players die in Crypt Run, they find themselves transported to the Realm of the Dead. This new realm has an otherworldly appearance and is inhabited by evil dead creatures (some of which you yourself put there!). In this way, dying begins an adventure in a new realm. (This unique death mechanic will allow for extremely deep gameplay, including challenges that require transporting between realms to complete!)
