When I was but a youngster I just loved playing the 1981 Arcade game of Frogger by Konami. It had loads of charm, great gameplay for kids and it really made you feel for the safety of those little green frogs as they hopped their way across a busy road, then across a river of logs and Crocodiles to get to the other side. So to get an update from happycodingzx, that he has released the final version of 'Frogger RX', which is basically an Arcade-like version of Frogger for the ZX Spectrum, I just had tell everyone about it here on IndieRetroNews.

Well if you had the opportunity to play this 1:1 arcade port using the original Z80 code that he reverse-engineered & transcoded to 68000, then as of today you can play the latest update! Hot News as FOUR unreleased Amstrad games including Frogger see the light of day!
Checking through the CPCWiki forums we've just come across an announcement that is sure to excite the Amstrad community, as just moments ago four unreleased games such as Acolyte, Frogger(Deanysoft), Ninja Grannies and Unpredictaball, have seen the light of day and are available to download. Originally these games were hinted at in 2014 after a bit of an annoyance on why C64 and ZX games are recovered but never the CPC versions, such as these unpublished games where the community was more interested in the ZX Spectrum ones.
Frogger II - Three Deep +4D - Hokuto Force trainers another popular classic!
While we wait for the upcoming Arcade C64 remake of Konami's 1981 Arcade classic of Frogger. The scene guru's Hokuto Force have recently released Frogger II - Three Deep +4D for the C64. Originally developed by the Parker Brothers and published by Sega Enterprises in 1984, Frogger II is the sequel to the first game and although it features very similar gameplay with your Frog character having to reach the top of the screen with each berth, this one features three consecutive screens for each level rather than one per level.

So when Gabriele Amore announced on the World of Spectrum forums about 'Hop 'N Frog' which is heavily inspired by Frogger, but for the ZX Spectrum, I just had have a go!
