Heaven Variant - A rather impressive Shoot Em Up

Heaven Variant is being made by Zanrai Interactive which is a 3 man indie dev team. It is a non bullet shell shoot'em up. Its game play is a homage to 3D shooters during the PSX and Saturn era, especially Einhander and Thunder force. The player will be able to transform between  a Jet and Mecha to access different fire modes.

This Man is a huge football fan and plays it a lot near his back alley. However One day he gets mugged by a wandering Bully and looses his precious ball in the process. As the story progresses he meets new people and will he ever get that ball back or confront the Bully? A charming Adventure game that has a lot of retro flavor and well worth your time!

DuoTasking - A unique multitasking-puzzle-platformer

A rather unique game is DuoTasking, as not only are the graphics of an unusual colorful style, but you also control both a cannon and a robot at the same time. You would think that it would be fiddly and fustrating however in DuoTasking it really works well. This being a multitasking-puzzle-platformer by Tadeon, involves your robot hopping from platform to platform to collect golden boxes, while using the cannon to shoot at enemies. When you move your robot from left to right, your laser cannon will move from top to bottom. It's a brilliant little title and free to play!

I'm glad it's not the Summer bundle as we seem to have gone back into winter again, ah well. So here's The Lunar Bundle from Indie Royale, with 4 great indie games and 3 unknowns. The games list includes : Cargo Commander, Pid, Back to the Future and Dungeon Hearts, from Puzzle to Adventure, this is a nice little bundle! The current minimum is only £3.49 however you better hurry, as the more people that buy, the higher the minimum cost. Banished - City Building (Video Update)

Although we did a large feature on this game before, the developers Shining Rock Software have released a gameplay video update of this fantastic looking village/city builder Banished!  Follow in the foot steps of a group of exiled travelers who decide to restart their lives in a new land. With a game play style of Anno, grow your town into a successful culture, keep the population alive by agriculture, hunting, gathering with trade and fishing. Although it's still in development, Banished looks like it could be a worthy city building strategy game.

Reprisal - A godly game inspired by Populous with a Demo!

This is Reprisal, a godly game inspired by Populous in which you, as a god, must use your powers to terraform the land and lead your followers to victory over the enemy forces. Reprisal by ReprisalUniverse, started off as an in development browser based title and very quickly became rather popular, to the point of now appearing on Desura, and needing your votes on Steam Greenlight. You have, just like in Populous, the ability to change the land around you, the better the land the more developed the buildings and the more people that appear. But that's just one part of the game, the ultimate enjoyment comes about in the power at your disposal from raising the sea water level to drown people, burning the land with raging fire, bring down a bolt of lightning to strike the earth, and commanding meteor showers to destroy an entire civilization in an instant. WinUAE 2.6.0 Beta 18 - The Very Best Amiga Emulator

The announcement of the final version has been released for MAY 2013, but until then, here's another beta version of this great Amiga emulator WinUAE by Toni Wilen. Spyra - First person puzzle and combat

Spyra is a new game that is very much still in early development, however it will appeal to those that enjoyed either Doom or Hexen. A title that contains both puzzles and combat, in a first person genre! You play as a writer that has attempted Astral Projection but has gone badly wrong. While leaving his very body an odd sense of displacement possess your character and you awake in the recently deceased shell of a young warrior, on another planet, within another dimension. This is when the fun begins, as you unravel the secrets of the planet you are on, and how to get back to your own body. Spyra by SerygalaCaffeine is certainly looking like a well made title, with some impressive graphics and plenty of rooms, enemies and puzzles, however as was said, it's still in development.
