Wrong Way Back - An Escape room game released for the Amiga CD32

If you fancy loading up a bit of horror this weekend, then make sure to check out the latest Amiga CD32 release of 'Wrong Way Back' by Locked Door Puzzle. A new game, in which the creator says "is about a woman trapped in a strange room trying to find her way home". Tenebra - An enjoyable C64/Plus4 game by Haplo arrives on the Amstrad CPC

Another early morning retro gaming news story for you all, as we've recently been informed by Saberman and XeNoMoRPH, that the previously released C64, Plus 4 and ZX Spectrum game of Tenebra by Haplo, is now available for the Amstrad CPC. For those of you who haven't heard of this game before, Tenebra is an atmospheric puzzle game with rogue-like elements that ended up getting a sequel for the C64 called Tenebra 2. To coincide with this news not only has Saberman done a video of Tenebra, but you can purchase it for the Amstrad CPC via the itch io page below.

Exploding Fist Remake - A remake of the C64 classic "The Way of the Exploding Fist"

Here's a game I remember fondly it's ' The Way of the Exploding Fist' ; a 1980s fighting game published by Melbourne House that appeared on many different systems such as the Amstrad, C16, C64, ZX Spectrum, BBC Micro, and even the Acorn! This rather famous game which was very similar to Karate Champ even featured gameplay as a series of one-on-one karate matches. Well if you too remember this fine game back in the day, you may be interested to know as thanks to Liqmatrix contacting just recently, he has told us that Coyney74 has released an update to his work in progress Exploding Fist Remake for PC and Linux.

If Karate chops and high powered kicks is your idea of fun, then 'Apple IIgs Karate' published by Brutal Deluxe Software for the Apple IIgs might just be the game for you. You see this isn't just a Karate game, but from reading the comments under the video itself, this is a port of the 1986 Atari ST game "ST Karate" by Paradox/Eidersoft. Street Fighter II: Champion Edition is getting a graphical hack for the Sega Master System

I'm sure many of you remember the Street Fighter games, more especially Street Fighter 2; a game which originally appeared on the Arcades, and was then ported to pretty much every system you could think of. Well fast forward to today however and do we have some truly stonking news for you! As thanks to Xfixium who released the incredible Golden Axe Tyris Flare edition, he is now working on a Sega Master System graphical hack of that classic game "Street Fighter II: Champion Edition".

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (ARCADE) is being ported over to the Sega Master System!

Brawlers, beat 'em ups, fighters or what ever you may call them are extremely popular on this site. There is nothing better than getting into an unrealistic arcade fighting situation, giving someone the smack down and having no real life consequences. So here we are with another beat 'em up update, as we've recently found out through twitter, that my personal favorite of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, is coming to the Sega Master System as a port of the original arcade version of TMNT.

Classic NES game 'Duck Hunt' has been released on the C64!

We always try to keep you up to date with the best in C64 news, but boy do we have a surprise for you. As if you've ever had a Nintendo and a Light Gun, then you'll be pleased to know Mahna Mahna has released the classic NES game of ' Duck Hunt ' over to the Commodore 64; a game that first appeared at the Transmission64 3rd Edition (2022) event. In light of this news, not only can you download the game right now, but there's also a new gameplay video done by Saberman earlier today.

Soko64 - A new Commodore 64 game based on the puzzler Sokoban

Thanks to another heads up from a good friend of ours , we've been told that if you're looking for something different to play that requires a lot of thinking about your next move, then it might be worth checking out Emanuele Feronato's latest game of 'Soko64'. A new Commodore 64 game which the creator says is based on the puzzle game Sokoban. While I'm not a fan of puzzle games myself, Saberman has provided a video below showing a small walkthrough of Soko64.

RINGO - A new ZX Spectrum 128k game made in an "experimental graphics mode"

RetroSouls have published many enjoyable games throughout the years, games such as GLUF, Old Tower, Twinlight, Alter Ego, and even Tourmaline for the ZX Spectrum. Well today thanks to a heads up by Saberman, he has told us that RetroSouls have released a brand new ZX Spectrum game called 'RINGO'. A game in which the creators have said it was made in an "experimental graphics mode". In light of this news, you can see how the game looks in this new gameplay playthrough by Saberman.
