Worldwide Hunting from Golem Games - A surprise Scoopex cracked release for the Amiga!

If you're against real life hunting of any form, but prefer shooting game pixels instead, then you might be interested to know that as of today, Scoopex have for the first time ever, cracked the full version of Worldwide Hunting, which was originally released by Golem Games for the Amiga as a game for the Golem Light Gun Package. Basically think of the game as duck hunt, except far more advanced in the graphical compartment and more animals!

For whatever reason, there's a whole swathe of titles that got releases on the Atari ST back in the day, but not on the Amiga. Given the platforms similarities you'd think a port would be a no brainer. indeed, many games just got simple ports from the base ST version with almost no enhancement for the Amiga version. But some games just never even got that treatment. Fortunately there have been efforts in recent years to put that right and actually make these games playable on the Amiga. This week it's the turn of Starquake to get the limelight.

OUTLANDS 100% - Scoopex cracks and fixes a 1980's Amiga Shooter!

We've just been contacted by our good friend Earok, that Galahad/FLT has re-released the 1989 shooter 'Outlands' as a 100% crack and fixed release through one of the finest sceners of our generation, Scoopex. This game is a top scrolling shoot em up published by Pandora and was your typical game of the genre featuring enemy waves to be destroyed, weapons upgrades and powerups and bosses at the end of a level. Although the game did feature a two player mode, which made the game much more fun.

Sibwing AGA - Hot off the press, a new Scoopex Amiga release!

Before I begin with this glorious news, I'd just like to say that as from tomorrow I shall be moving home and full speed broadband doesn't go live until Wednesday. So expect sporadic write ups up until then. But as for today, we've just been told by Scoopex, that they have released 'Sibwing AGA'; a 3D styled shoot em up, that according to Galahad on the EAB forums, is an early pre-release for what became Guardian AGA, the Starfox/Starwing like clone on the SNES. Basically this game was never intended to be released! Also thanks of course goes to Earok, and the original developers Acid Software!

Atari ST game ' Ranarama ' WIP Amiga conversion by Galahad/Scoopex!

Not long into 2016 and already the Amiga scene is kicking it up a notch, as we've just learnt from our good friends Scoopex, of an Atari ST to Amiga conversion they have been working on with Galahad that is due at some point this year. The game is none other than ' Ranarama ' which not only appeared on the Atari ST but the Amstrad CPC, C64 and ZX Spectrum. The gameplay was basically a top down Gauntlet styled action game, developed by Craftgold in the late 80's and published by Hewson Consultants.

GODS - Full blown Amiga CD32 release with custom loader!

Now here's a blast from the past it's 'GODS', an original game by the Bitmap Brothers which was released in 1991-2 for the Amiga, Atari ST, PC, SNES and Sega Megadrive. It is without doubt a seriously cool action platformer that was loved by many. It also had that famous tune ' Into The Wonderful ' which if you said it to any Amiga gamer would probably go crazy with the tune playing over and over again in their heads in a constant loop. But today's news is a very special end of year 2015 release by Earok, Galahad and Steve, it's ' GODS [CD32] [SX32] ' for all Amiga CD32 owners!

Putty Squad - Over 20 years and now it's the Amiga CD32's & Mega Drive's turn!

Originally intended for release in the early 90s for the Amiga with the Sega Mega Drive and MS-DOS versions being unpublished and only a SNES version coming to retail. Putty Squad features old-skool gameplay and arcade platforming action that showcases the creativity the Amiga platform was renowned for. While Putty Squad was later made available for modern consoles and is a re-imagining of a classic game by System 3, The Amiga sourced version wasn't actually released until Christmas Eve, 2013, making Putty Squad for the Amiga the most authentic Putty experience available. But that's not all! As now it's the Amiga CD32's turn, as Psygore, Galahad, Earok & Codetapper have made available the CD32 version with a very special bonus on top!

Mutant League Hockey [AGA] - Unreleased Amiga game sees light of day thanks to Scoopex! [UPDATE]

After days of waiting and much anticipation we are here to mention one of the finest Scoopex releases we've seen for some time. This is ' Mutant League Hockey ', an ice hockey game with a difference that was actually released for the Sega Genesis in 1994 by Ocean but was never released on the Amiga, as it was canned (at least until today!). That's right Scoopex have gone all out for Amiga gamers, with the original supply by Getafix/CMAP and cracked by none other than Galahad, you too can finally play this incredibly fun game on your Amiga. One that should've appeared all those years ago!

Scoopex slams into 2015 with Equality, a new Amiga release!

As if the brilliant Arkanoid style game of Tecnoball Z, released by Scoopex for the Amiga wasn't enough, they've just gone and released in the last hour another fine game called 'Equality'. Classed as an arcade puzzle game, originally developed by TLK Games, Equality although developed in 1991 was never finalized but did see a PC-DOS version that was redesigned and made simpler. Thankfully today Scoopex has released the fully functioning Amiga version, with a great cracktro!

Tecnoball Z - Unreleased Amiga Arkanoid style game sees light of day!

Just moments ago Seppo Seppälä announced that 'Tecnoball Z' was released for the Amiga, which never had an official release until now. Originally developed by tlk games way back in 1992, has finally been crack released by Galahad with personal thanks also going to dlfrsilver. The file is an ADF so this is especially useful for Gotek users and anyone using an Amiga emulator such as WinUAE.

Where Time Stood Still - NEW AMIGA GAME finally gets ported from ST version

Over on EAB, Galahad has announced that the conversion of the isometric classic Where Time Stood Still has finally been finished. In 1988, Ocean released the Denton Designs made WTSS for the Spectrum, DOS CGA and Atari ST. However an Amiga version was never forthcoming from them. Until now...
