Genesia - If you loved Populous or Settlers then check this Amiga-PC classic out

In 1993 Microids and Software Toolworks released a brilliant strategy game called Ultimate Domain (Genesia) for the Amiga. It was very similar to other classic strategy games of that time, as you started in the 17th century and had to colonize the new world, but also having to search for 'The Seven Jewels of Genesia'. It was one of my most favourite strategy games of all time and I was rather pleased to hear from our good friends The Company.PL, that they have made available the Amiga to PC playable release that everyone can pick up and play without setting up emulators.

TwinWorld: Land of Vision - The Company.PL are back with an old Amiga game via PC!

Some time ago on Indie Retro News, we used to love writing about the latest unofficial Amiga playable games on the PC from our good friends The Company.PL. But sadly not long into 2016 the releases stopped, as personal issues took their tole on one of the main guys behind the releasing team. Thankfully however as of today we have good news, as not only are The Company.PL back in action, but they've released the Amiga to PC playable game as a single trainered exe file, 'TwinWorld: Land of Vision'.

Magic Pockets - A great Amiga title now PC playable!

Lethal Weapon - Amiga action platformer is now PC playable

Lethal Weapon developed by Ocean way back in 1992 is the latest game to get the PC playable treatment by The Company.PL. An action platform game based on the original Lethal Weapon movies in which you need to kill bad guys with different weapons across multiple platforms. The graphics, while decent enough for the time gave enough clarity to the demo while remaining both entertaining and having just the right amount of difficulty to be a challenge to most Amiga gamers.

Gobliiins Compilation - Three classic Amiga games now PC playable!

The Company.PL have now moved onto another classic Amiga release and it's the great Gobliiins trilogy with three of the classic Amiga games, Gobliiins, Gobliins 2: The Prince Buffoon & Goblins 3 now freely playable. First released in the early 90's, you control a number of Goblins in a mix of adventure and puzzle solving as you find the solution to each screen before moving onto the next. Truly great games that are filled with comedy, from the crazy antics to the weird character voices! Although there was a PC release this is the Amiga version with improved game speed and an added cheat trainer.

Legion - Amiga Polish RPG now free PC playable

Put aside your Dragon Age, turn away from the Dragonborn in Skyrim and look towards the PC playable release of Legion; an Amiga 1996 RPG by Polish developer Gobi. According to some, one of the best Polish RPG's of it's time, a fantasy strategy game with elements of role-playing genre. For anyone that hasn't played it, like myself, The Company.PL has now released the Amiga version as fully PC playable.

Lionheart - Beautiful looking Amiga Retro Platformer (PC Playable+Remake)

Lionheart is one of the nicest looking Platformers ever released on the Amiga, the details and game play are of very high standard. This was originally released in 1993 by Thalion Software and art design by Henk Neiborg which had your character traversing the levels, jumping platforms and killing bad guys, it was so popular that it received some great reviews in several magazines. I won't spoil the story because I really want you to play this fine game! Thanks to The Company.pl, which have just released/updated the Amiga release to a free PC portable version of 2.6.

Amiga Dungeoneering Collection - Over 60 of the best Amiga Dungeon RPGS for your PC! (FREE)

If you loved old school RPG games, especially Dungeon Crawlers from the era of the Amiga,  then you will be drooling over this epic pack of RPG goodness. Dimahoo - 8ing/Raizing high powered shoot em up, now PC portable!

Prepare yourself for one of the best shoot em ups you'll play all week, a game classic by 8ing/Raizing and published by Capcom, now PC portable. A game is set in a futuristic environment with dragons, tanks and other strange mix of fantasy and mechanical based enemies. What gives this game the edge over other shoot em ups is not just the incredible graphics, but how the world below looks so interactive! For example, in one area an enemy holds people hostage and as you fly over and shoot the enemy, the hostages wave at you in celebration. But with all that going on, just make sure to take in all the high powered weaponry at your disposal, this is one hell of an awesome shoot em up. - Thanks to Espartan of The Company.pl who has made the game portable through a single exe, at it's core is the Mame emulator and rom.

Gods - The Bitmap Brothers excellent Platformer now PC portable!

This is one of those great classics that most of us have probably heard of, and it's also developed by the awesome Bitmap Brothers. Gods is a Platformer from 1991 that appeared on multiple platforms including my favourite computer, the Amiga. You control the legendary Hercules in his quest to achieve immortality! And this is done through many different levels that become ever more difficult. Especially as you not only have to deal with traps but also enemies and figuring out which levers work what door. Now thanks to The Company.PL you can play the Amiga version through a single exe, all nice and portable.

Soccer Kid - An Amiga platforming classic where your ball is a weapon!

Here's a great game that I have fond memories of as a child, probably the only game I can remember where your football (Soccer for the Americans) is a tool against the bad guys. Developed by Krisalis and released in 1993 for both the Amiga, SNES and 3DO is a fun Platformer staring the Soccer Kid! Play through any number of levels, performing runs, shots, bicycle kicks, headers and other popular footy moves while avoiding being hurt by the bad guys. Zool Compilation - One of Amiga's best selling Platformer, now for your PC!

If Rick Dangerous didn't wet your retro appetite, here comes another classic platforming game. A game so well received it became one of Amiga's best selling titles! Zool was intended as a rival to Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog and also hyped upon its initial release, including being bundled with the newly launched Amiga 1200. Welcome to Turrican, which was originally programmed and designed by Manfred Trenz (1989/90). It also first came out on the C64, and then appeared on a multitude of systems under different developers, such as, Factor 5(Amiga). You are Turrican, a warrior, bio-engineered for the task of planetary reclamation. To return to The lost colony of Alterra and defeat the MORGUL while fighting it's many hostile creatures. This series of games had the most awesome of sound tracks by Chris Hülsbeck, which are still being remixed today. It also had, not just brilliant action based shooting (with a weapon that fired in different ways), but also some of the best looking platform scenery. I won't go into to much detail in this, as if I get it wrong, I'll be linched by the many Turrican fans! Suffice to say, you just have to play it. Not to be left out though, the music was very very good, I can even hear the music going through my head right now, do do do do, ok I'll stop now.
